Camping Gritsa '66, one of the first camping sites in Greece, opened its doors for business in 1966. Soon after that the area became a holiday destination for Greek and European campers. Endless nights around bonfires and legendary parties that became the talk of the town are still nostalgically remembered.
Through our photographs we are taken back to a laid back era with less worries and more free time, we all long for.
More recently, Camping Gritsa '66 reopened as beach bar “Mare 66” which was embraced by intellectuals and artists, thus, creating a new benchmark in local entertainment.
